When there is no people passing, the LED road studs on the ground will give no reflection, and the vehicles can pass smoothly, however, if the detectors detect that there is pedestrian, one side of the road studs will flashing simultaneously, and the passing vehicles will slow down and give way to pedestrians under the warning of the road studs.
And the traffic police of Changsha and Qingdao have tried on this aspect, too. And this attempt has won praise from the medias and citizens. However, the LED road studs were broken within three months, and the key problem happens in the service time of the road studs, which is not to our surprise, for it is a difficulty throughout the world to keep the
LED road stud intact when installed in the central lines of the roads.
And the products installed in Shenzhen have been designed ten years ago, and improvements and experiments have been carried out for thousands of times, which are applied widely in foreign countries.
